Stevia, a natural sweetener, has been playing a key role in food and beverage products in recent years. between 2012 and 2017, the growth rate of beverage products containing stevia ingredients launched globally was 161%, and the food category grew by 57%, with Asia Pacific accounting for 40% of all new stevia-containing food and beverage products, and this growth is expected to continue in 2019. Asia Pacific will likely become the world's largest market for stevia consumption.

From the current point of view, there is a very large space for sugar in beverages, and when using sugar substitutes, many of them are currently unable to achieve the effect of sucrose, so it is not possible to completely rely on sugar substitutes to replace sucrose.
